Seizure alert dogs are trained to provide a 100% reliable warning up to 1 hour in advance of an oncoming seizure. They give time for their owner to find a place of safety and privacy as they have their seizure. Support Paws is the only organisation in the UK to provide and train seizure alert dogs.
Disability Assistance
Our disability assistance dogs are trained to support their owners by carrying out tasks tailored to their needs such as dressing and undressing, loading and unloading the washing machine, and raising the alarm. They also enable clients to lead more sociable, independent lives.

Certified Working Support Dog for Seizure Alert and Emergancy Contact Alert.
1/ Rolo has been trained to spot the signs and to warn Mr Buckley in advance that an seizure episode is about to happen, giving his handler time to take medication were appropriate, or to get to a safe space.
2/ Rolo’s bark has been synced with Siri on his handler’s phone to activate the emergency medical assist function should his handler fall and become unconscious or in need of help and assistance. The need for assistance and location is broadcast to his handlers emergency contacts.
